Tuesday 9/4/23- Varsity players will receive ‘White Out Shirts’ to hand out to classmates attending Saturday’s Match up between Smoky Hill and Overland.
Friday 9/8/23 @ 5:30 pm- Team dinner at Laredo Middle School. This is a special team dinner where the coaches will cook for the team, and we will have the Bison club join us for the meal. To sign up to help serve, clean up or bring desserts, click here- Team Dinner Volunteer
Saturday 9/9/23 @ 9 am– C-team @ Overland. Overland High School.
This year, SHHS has the honor of hosting the military appreciation game. Events start at 12 on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
9/9/23 @ 12-2– Luncheon at Cherokee Trail High School. The day begins with a special luncheon honoring veterans, military members, and their families (no RSVP required). It will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in the Cherokee Trail High School cafeteria.
9/9/23 @ 2-5 Community Celebration East Parking Lot CT High School. You won’t want to miss the FREE Community Celebration from 2 to 5 p.m. in the east parking lot including:
- get up close with a Blackhawk helicopter
- engage in Air Force STEM activities.
- see the Honor Bell
- learn about the Quilts of Valor
- visit the Army National Guard Gaming Trailer
- listen to music performed by the Fountain Fort Carson 4th ID Rock Band
- concessions (burgers/hot dogs) will be available for purchase.
9/9/23 @ 6 pm Smoky Hill vs. Overland at Legacy Stadium. Wear your white-out tee shirts and support the Buffalos as they take on the Trail Blazers to defend the Wagon Wheel again this year.All veterans, military members, and their families get free admission to the game.
