Sorry we missed you at our last parent meeting, here are a few notes of the items we covered.
Fall sports registration is open:
Camp gear window has been re-opened, and will be open until this Friday the 19th.
Full contact scrimmage on Thursday the 18th at 9:00am
End of camp BBQ. Friday from 6:00pm-8:00pm the booster club will be hosting a BBQ at the school. Please join us to annual wrap up camp event, meet coaches, meet players, talk to board members, etc.
This is a discount card program that offers special local, and national discounts. It is our largest fund raising effort each year. There will be more details on the program, and the official launch date coming out in next week. Players will be set a goal of selling 25 cards. This year we will also be able to have players take credit card payments for Buff Cards via a fundraising app used to track and sell cards, on their phone. There will be more details on how to connect to your social media contacts to help your player meet his goals in the next week.
Donors/corporate sponsorship. In addition to our card program, we relay on community sponsors to fill the funding gap for our program. Our donor program page is up and cover the details. There are options to donate online from the page, and if you need to you can download the sponsor form and send it in.
Volunteering opportunities. We need 5 shifts from each family to help run our program. This can be working the chains, or the merchandise table at any game, helping with team diners, the home coming events, or even working at home on a small project. The Volunteer page covers a lot more in detail on what we need help with, and how we manage parent sign up for events. When you signed up in the parent portal, you we automatically added to our Sign Up Genius list as well. Look for emails on volunteer opportunities coming out end of July.
